Here is a bonus chapter. It's about Illidan's first visit to the Darkmoon Fair. Based on an event between Amber and Stephen.

It was the second day that Illidan was in Darnassus. They were to stay there longer due to King Varian getting the other leaders together for another submit. He was with Malfurion. They were just walking around talking. Illidan spotted a strange banner with a female human in a green wizard hat standing in front of the banner.

"Mal," said Illidan, "What is that for?"

The fight in Ashenvale had finally ended. Varendar, once again, was laying on the ground tried. Fearless had his head laying on Varendar's stomach. Illidan smiled at them.

"Illidan!" Tyrande called.

She came over and gave him a hug.

"Thank you so much for helping us," she said happily.

"It was no problem," Illidan said.

Raknaal came up.

"General the rest of the Horde are retreating back to Orgrimmar," he said.

"Good," Illidan said.

Blizzard Writing Contest 2011 Entry

Darnassus was still, as it ever seemed to be. The capital of the Night Elves was far removed from the rest of the world, not touching any continent and closer to clouds than the earth. Despite the turmoil that covered most of Azeroth, the home of so many Night Elves was still a safe haven.

It seemed to Malfurion nearly ironic. Turmoil of this second sundering had touch each of their allies in some way—the dwarves had lost their beloved king in his attempts to calm the quaking world, and part of the Human's capital city had been torn away—but though his people probably deserved the suffeHealing by ~ode2sokka
NightmareThe elf groaned and rolled over onto his back.  Light pounded against his skull, worsening his headache, though it had also lessened a good deal now that he was no longer leaning on his horns.  He suppressed a grunt of disgust, his altered vision snapping into reality once he had fully regained consciousness.

Swirls of energy dominated, slowly resolving into recognizable shapes—massive trees, a stream, several types of birds.  The colors of the trees were a deep, lush green, augmented only slightly by a sapphire blue.  Silvery figures moved between them, oddly resembling—

And there goes my day.
