It was the second day that Illidan was in Darnassus. They were to stay there longer due to King Varian getting the other leaders together for another submit. He was with Malfurion. They were just walking around talking. Illidan spotted a strange banner with a female human in a green wizard hat standing in front of the banner.

Darnassus was still, as it ever seemed to be. The capital of the Night Elves was far removed from the rest of the world, not touching any continent and closer to clouds than the earth. Despite the turmoil that covered most of Azeroth, the home of so many Night Elves was still a safe haven.
It seemed to Malfurion nearly ironic. Turmoil of this second sundering had touch each of their allies in some waythe dwarves had lost their beloved king in his attempts to calm the quaking world, and part of the Human's capital city had been torn awaybut though his people probably deserved the suffe
The elf groaned and rolled over onto his back. Light pounded against his skull, worsening his headache, though it had also lessened a good deal now that he was no longer leaning on his horns. He suppressed a grunt of disgust, his altered vision snapping into reality once he had fully regained consciousness.
